In Colorado, if you are pulled over and when the police runs your license plate and it shows that the plates are 2 years expired but there is a false tag indicating that the plates are current, what are the possible penalties?
What is the penalty for displaying false license plate tags?
Not sure what it is there, but in SD my friends husband did that about 10years ago and spent the night in jail until he got made bail, and he ended up paying a fine (150.00)
