on your eyelids. They bother me. and one even has a little black head on it, and sticks out funny. I even have 2 more developing and wonder why I get them?

I agree that in most cases you can tie them off and they will fall off, but I would hesitate to do that so close to my eye. There is always a small risk of infection and I don%26#039;t think I could hold still long enough.
You are right, they do tend to run in families, and I don%26#039;t think anyone knows the exact cause of them.
Probably your general practitioner can take care of them.

ANYWAY, I read (here) that you can tie a very tight, very thin string around the base, knot it, and cut the extra string. Then in a few days it should fall off due to the lack of blood flow. Makes sense thats how they humainly castrate bulls, goats,etc. I hope this helped...
