Can two shirts have the same bar code on their tags?

I think I might have bought some fake designer shirts. Please give examples supporting your answer.

Can two shirts have the same bar code on their tags?
The bar code is the number that identifies itself within the store computer system. I don%26#039;t know of any numbers for clothing that help you determine fake or real. Most people just know by where they buy the clothes.
Reply:I have worked in retail for quite a few years in different stores and products that are identical have the same barcode. In your case all the shirts just like yours in the same size would have the same barcode. Candy Bars of the same kind have the same barcode. Every can of soda of the same kind in a store has the same barcode. But I don%26#039;t beleive that it would be to hard for a store or company to copy a barcode. Most stores have bar code printers. So whether you not you got a designer knock off might be kind of hard to prove.
Reply:No probably not. I think it was a fake. definetly because how can that happen?
