How did you get rid of skin tags?

Can I cut them off? Will they come back? Is there an ointment? I just want a cheaper method other then laser.

How did you get rid of skin tags?
I have done this twice and it worked both times. You twist the skin tag in one direction until you feel the slightest pinch. Then, put one of those round little band-aids on it, using the sticky side to hold its position, not the gauze stuff. The idea is to cut off the blood supply to the skin tag. Leave it alone for 2-3 days, then simply peel the band-aid off. The skin tag should peel right off with it. It%26#039;s had no circulation to it and it basically dries up. NOTE: If, after you%26#039;ve placed the band-aid, the area is sore or painful, you%26#039;ve twisted it too much. This process should not hurt at all; you should not feel anything the entire time. Hope it works :)
Reply:burn them
Reply:Those are kind of gross, huh? I have gotten a few since getting older. My cousin has a lot on her neck. Many of hers are coloured brown like skin tag freckles. Gross, huh?

She%26#039;s had them for a long time and doesn%26#039;t do anything about them. They always freaked me out. . . I%26#039;d get those suckers removed Pronto!

I mean she%26#039;s had like ten colored ones for like 12 yrs. . . . ON HER NECK . . .IN FRONT ! BLEH !!
Reply:A doctor has to remove them. You can%26#039;t do it yourself.
Reply:I hear you, when you%26#039;re looking for cheaper. The doctors do whats called as %26quot;Cryosurgery%26quot; - which is freezing them off. Its like they%26#039;re being burned off, but, they%26#039;re not. So, I often wondered why I couldn%26#039;t do that at home too? But, I always chicken out and realize,....I%26#039;ll go to a doctor sometime when I find one that will take payments. Don%26#039;t do something rash.
Reply:would it be stupid of me to ask what a skin tag is?
