The first and third letters are constanants. Vowels are used only in the 2nd position

21 x 26 x 21

Note - the assertion that vowels are not used in the first and last positions is incorrect in the %26quot;real%26quot; world.

Chicago is ORD

My answer is correct if *only* vowels can be used in the second position. KennyB%26#039;s answer is correct if vowels *or* consonants can be used in the second position. Your question sounds like consonants are only for the first and third letters, though, NOT the second.
