make sure they go to the car they are auctioning off? I bought a car from an individual that had gotten this car from an auction and the inspection and tags doesn%26#039;t belong to the car and they are saying those tags and inspection stickers were on there when they got the car. it would really work in my favor if i can get a letter stating that the car auction checks that sort of stuff.

The car auctions around here simply provide a service, they are not responsible for the condition of the car, nor do they offer a guarantee. Just like if you put something for auciton on Ebay, you are responsible for the information, not Ebay. The person responsible for the inspection would be the person who brought the car to the auction. I seriously doubt the aution itself has inspection procedures, but you would have to call them to be sure.
