If I were to buy shirts wholesale can I rip their tags out and sell them as my own?

They are blank shirts that I will be screenprinting my origional designs on. Do you think I could get in trouble for this?

Also anyone know a good place to get these wholesale shirts? I want excellent quality.

i don%26#039;t think you need to take off the tags if you own a business. usually certain types of businesses are able to buy blank t-shirts wholesale and print the shirts themselves.

try gildan. most shirts are from gildan. you have to be one of their clients in order to buy from them.
Reply:taking the tags out is definitly illegal.

you will have to contract to have your tags sewn in .

go to www.alibaba.com
Reply:What you propose does sound illegal. Don%26#039;t forget that fashion is intellectual property. But what you%26#039;re talking about is needless extra work. You should just contract with a shirt manufacturer to supply shirts - you order the sizes, styles, colour and fabrication - with your label in them.

However, asking this question makes me wonder if you are ready to get into retailling. Perhaps you should work for someone else for a while.
