Why do black people keep tags on their hats?

What is the point of this? I think they look stupid.

Why do black people keep tags on their hats?
they keep them on b/c if they see someone with the same "phat" hat, they go and return it and get their money back.

Just because you see a couple of black guys with price tags does not mean all "black people" do it and to answer your question some "GUYS" do it because its a trend that they're into for anykind of clothing not just hats. I'm black and I diffinantly do not wear price tags on my clothes unless I forgot to take it off. I think the trend is stupied especially if its like $5.00 or something.
