Do you need the tags to return an item from Macy's?

I have the receipts but i took out all the tags/other attachments.

Do you need the tags to return an item from Macy's?
It will be much easier for the employees at macy's if you bring the tags. If not then just note where that item is on your reciept. That should be enough. If you do not have the tags, you might want to find where these pieces of merchandise are in the store so that they can use these tags to enter it as a return in the computer. I used to work for Robinsons May (now Macy's) and I remember how much of a pain it was when there was no tags on returned merchandise. In extreme cases I would have to guess. But you should be okay with just the reciept. Good luck.
