Reply:I don't know where you live... But in West MI, Pet Supplies Plus. They have a kiosk which engraves as you wait.

Reply:Most pet shops have a machine at the front of the store. When you check out, you tell them you would like to purchase a tag and pay for it. They give you some coins to insert into the machine, and then you select your tag and enter the personalized information.
Some Wal Mart stores also have a similar machine.
I know you said that you do not want to use a Website that you can not trust, but I have used eBay NUMEROUS times to order personalized pet tags (we live on a farm and have a lot of pets). I got very good service, the selection of designs is much larger than provided by those machines, and they were of high quality.
Your vet can order them for you, also. They usually just mail them off though (to some of those catalog/website companies).
