stickers on the bottom of plastic tumblers
How to get the sticky glue left on by the sales tags. hot water does not work?
Goo Gone. You can find it at Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, and probably many other places. I had a light fixture with sticky barcodes on the inside of the globes. I peeled the stickers off and used a few drops of Goo Gone on a rag and the stickiness came off in seconds with little rubbing.
Reply:Goo-Gone works great! And it smells good, too :)
Reply:alcohol is the best
Reply:GOO GONE
Reply:yep goo gone works. That's what I use.
Reply:1.use some goo gone. just a drop and your good.
2.also try greased lightening.
if you dont' like to use those maybe some
3.lemon or other citrus oil.
4.sometimes an eraser tip will do the trick too.
Reply:smear some peanut butter on the sticky bit,let it sit awhile ,then scrub it off.
Reply:I use rubbing alcohol, 90% or more, to do the task. That and elbow grease. Use cloth, not paper towel. (Put the cup in the freezer for 5 minutes and then use the alcohol. Freezer will harden the glue and make it less sticky thus, easier to take off.) Hope this helps!
Reply:Use WD40 - I had my doubts but it does work without damaging the plastic.

Reply:You can try putting some vinegar and water on it and you can scrap off the sticky residue.
Reply:Just put some dish liquid where it's sticky .... rub it in and then use a dish cloth with hot water to rub off. It works for me.
