My car is being sold in PA the title is from IN with tags from VA. Can I have notarized and send to buyer?

My parents (who are in PA) are actually going to handle the transaction. Do I have to do anything special or can I just go to a notary, sign the title and send it to them to take care of the rest? Thanks!

In Ohio, both people have to be present to notorize a title,I am not sure about Pa, as it is a commonwealth state, best thing is to contact you local D.M.V. I live in Va. Be sure you fill out the back of your registration and mail it to the Va. Dmv or you will have to pay personal property tax on the vehicle till they recieve the registration back.
Reply:Don't worry about the tags.

You will properly sign the bill of sale (Title) and the buyer will take that document to the DMV in their state and will be able to transfer ownership.

Send the signed title to your parents via tracked carrier........(fedex/ups)
Reply:Yes, the buyer will get the title and tags in his state anyway.
