Are there any type of security tags you can buy when the alarm goes off when trying ro remove?

I own a small boutique in Texas, and I get clothes stolen from there all the time. My friend was telling me about an alarm that goes off when you try to remove the security tag. That's EXACTLY the one I want. Do those really work, or do they just say that on their to scare customers.





Is the the norm for most of the stores out today, and where do you purchase them? Online/Offline.

The most economical one have a small capsule that breaks when someone tries to remove it releasing a dye that then ruins the garment. The idea being that no one would want the garment then this is true however that include you and then you can't sell it.


There are some that have a wire that goes through the sleeve hole and then both ends of the wire attach to a box secured to the fixture. Anyone trying to remove these sets off the alarm. They are effective but make it quite cumbersome to try the clothes on.





Personally I think we should just pass a law with the Death Penalty for shoplifting. Then we wouldn't have to worry about such things.
