hi i am a nurse if you tie cotton around them in about a week they will dtart to die as no blood is getting to them, and feeding them to get bigger, they will then drop off

Tie white cotton thread around them, (tightly), leave it on for several days, 5-7, and they should come off fairly easily. By the way, DO NOT cut them off with scissors or tweezers!
