Has anyone used the shanrene personalized dog tags online shopping on that website?
how was your service?
i need to know beacuse i want to get a dogtag and i want to know if the website is bad or you dont get your dog tag.. thanks.
Has anyone used the shanrene personalized dog tags online shopping on that website?
There's really no good or bad in dog tags unless you want something in precious metal. I mean, if a personal photo dog tag is $5, then it's worth a try.
I think I'll get one too.

Is it alright to add incorrect tags to your Youtube videos?
For example, "Britney Spears" when your video is about the environment. Not that my video is about the environment, lol.

It would be case of violating the site's community guidelines. Your account could even be closed if other users start reporting this continuously.

Why do black people keep tags on their hats?
What is the point of this? I think they look stupid.
Why do black people keep tags on their hats?
they keep them on b/c if they see someone with the same "phat" hat, they go and return it and get their money back.
those p.i.m.p.s
Reply:To make it look they have a lot of money and just bought the hat.
Reply:its usually on their New Era 59-fifty caps
they keep the sticker to prove thats its an authentic (cos theres fake ones)
Or like its in 'mint' condition (i think bcos some collect those caps)
????
but i reckon the style of cap is lame-***, and leaving a sticker on it is retarded
most black teens/young adults i see in the city wear those caps
Reply:Well, first of all I don't know what color you are but you are very dumb to ask the question like that. Why are you sterotyping all BLACK people, idiot. Just because you see a couple of black guys with price tags does not mean all "black people" do it and to answer your question some "GUYS" do it because its a trend that they're into for anykind of clothing not just hats. I'm black and I diffinantly do not wear price tags on my clothes unless I forgot to take it off. I think the trend is stupied especially if its like $5.00 or something.

some don't take it off to show its new, they leave it on till they wash it.
some want to show how much they paid for it
and one wanted to show it was authentic

What would happen if a group targeted image labeler with massive incorrect tags?
I believe the use of two people to work the image labeler game will prevent this. On the other hand, "if" there were two "dis phosphate" individuals who happen to get paired up by Google then it would result in entries as in Wilkepedia. There could be some really weird entries. Jerry K

If the tags on a juicy couture bag say juicy beach is it fake?
I was about to buy this juicy daydreamer purse but then when i saw the tag it said juicy beach but you could see that they tried to cut the tag so i wouldnt see it. The purse was really nice and all but i am not going to spend money on a fake purse. Just wanted to make sure that the real purse doesnt say juicy beach.
If the tags on a juicy couture bag say juicy beach is it fake?
Oh yeah, it's definitely fake if it says Juicy Beach on the tag!
Check out this website I found out on the Daydreamer purses I found on eBAY and how a lot of people are getting ripped off because of them:

How to get the sticky glue left on by the sales tags. hot water does not work?
Goo Gone. You can find it at Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, and probably many other places. I had a light fixture with sticky barcodes on the inside of the globes. I peeled the stickers off and used a few drops of Goo Gone on a rag and the stickiness came off in seconds with little rubbing.

3.lemon or other citrus oil.
4.sometimes an eraser tip will do the trick too.
Reply:smear some peanut butter on the sticky bit,let it sit awhile ,then scrub it off.
Reply:I use rubbing alcohol, 90% or more, to do the task. That and elbow grease. Use cloth, not paper towel. (Put the cup in the freezer for 5 minutes and then use the alcohol. Freezer will harden the glue and make it less sticky thus, easier to take off.) Hope this helps!

Why is it against the law to remove the "hang tags" from new pillows?
it is not after you buy it
Why is it against the law to remove the "hang tags" from new pillows?
It's not. You are the consumer. It say that it is not to be removed unless by the Comsumer.
Reply:After you purchase the pillow, you can remove the tag. The tag is there so the end consumer (thats you) can see what the pillow is made of before you buy it. Allergies, etc.
Reply:It's not. Rip away! They're required to be intact when you buy it. After that it's up to you.

I have nice coffee servers but I need to put a tag on them when I serve anything other than regular coffee.

check your local restaurant supply stores they have them usually.
Reply:I could make you some snazzy ones on my waterjet. I could make them out of just about anything you wanted.
Reply:make little tags and string them on a piece of pretty ribbon. tie the ribbon around but underneath the handle.
Reply:I got cute little picture frames and made the "signs" on my computer...you get to choose the color of paper and font!
Reply:Make a tag for each of them yourself on your computer... then laminate them and put magnet strips on the back of them so they won't damage the surface of the coffee servers... If they aren't metal........just put a small string on them or...just set them in front of them. Good luck!

Do you recommend natural remedies to remove skin moles and skin tags?
I was wondering what you would recommend to remove Skin Moles or Skin tags, going to a dermatologist and having them remove them or trying a natural remedy. If you have used a natural remedy please let me know how it went.
Do you recommend natural remedies to remove skin moles and skin tags?
i just used iodine to remove mine and it worked great. it takes about a week. i have little pink circles on my skin now from it but those seem to be fading
Reply:Nothing I know of to get rid of moles except have a dermatologist burn them off with a laser pen (not usually covered by insurance).
You could take a piece of sewing string and tie it tightly around a skin tag until it dies and falls off...or you could cut it off with a sterilized nail clippers....
Reply:Mevlana sounds like she would be an interesting date, for a person with moles and skin tags. (Which I do.)

Did you know that beer now has RFID tags?
RFID: Radio Frequency Identification
I walked out of Wal-Mart and the buzzer went off for a case of beer that I paid for.
Did you know that beer now has RFID tags?
Granted that Wal-mart is trying to use RFID technology for inventory purposes, but it sounds like an integrated Sensormatic theft deterrent tag on the item. Its two different systems, the RFID is used mainly on pallets to check in merchandise to the store. Sensormatic is used to set off an alarm on tags that have not been properly deactivated that is leaving the building.
Reply:Good customer service would have been the associate apologize that they didn't deactivate the merchandise and then deactivate it for you.
Happens all the time where I work. Report It
Reply:This is not because it's beer. Supermarkets put RFID tags to the products more likely to be stolen. Maybe they put tags to the cans but the deactivating system couldn't reach all of them inside the case.

How do you go about getting Antique Car tags in Pennsylvania, also, what are the rules for having them?
The car has to be at least 20 years old, and driven less than 2500 miles a year. It's really easy to get the tags. It's much harder to get the collector policy to cover the car. But you don't HAVE to have collector insurance to cover antique tags.
In PA, you pretty much can't get a collector policy unless you're at least 25, and EVERY MEMBER OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD has to have a vehicle for usage that isn't that one, including you. You need six photos - all four sides, engine, and interior (dash) to substantiate condition, and your PRIMARY auto policy has to have limits at least as high as the collector policy.
How do you go about getting Antique Car tags in Pennsylvania, also, what are the rules for having them?
go to the DMV. Most states require the car to be 20, usually 25 model years old.
Reply:The DMV is your best bet. In Wisconsin, the rules were that you weren't allowed to drive your car during February, but who drives Antique Cars in February?
Also, this may be different per state, but a Antique Car had to be 60 years or older and a Classic Car had to be 20 years; with different rules about driving for each plate.
Reply:talk to someone that has an antique car there, I know Pennsylvania has about 3or 4 differen't antique plates that they issue for differen't type of vehicles, I would imagine the place where you buy your license plates could tell you all about it.

How much will I have to pay for tags and taxes for a 99 Chevy Cavalier that cost me $500?
I live in MD, and I believe we pay 5% of what the car costs.
How much will I have to pay for tags and taxes for a 99 Chevy Cavalier that cost me $500?
http://www.mva.state.md.us/VehicleServ/R...
Toward the bottom on that page:
Proof of purchase price - This should be a bill of sale signed by both the buyer(s) and seller(s). The bill of sale must be notarized if the following conditions apply:
the vehicle is less than 7 years old; and
the purchase price is at least $500 below the book value; and
the new owner (buyer) wants to base the excise tax calculation (5% of the vehicle's value) on the sale price rather than the book value.
This would seem to indicate that MD (as do several other states) goes by the book value of a vehicle and not what you claim you paid for it.
Reply:Then that would make the taxes at $25.00. Tags vary from state to state as well. If you don't have a previous tag that you can transfer, it will cost more money. For a new tag, it costs a little less than $100 where I live. If you're transferring a tag, it's probably about 30 bucks. This is just a guesstimate since I don't live in Maryland.

How do I know If my car tags are expired?
Example: they say OCT 2007
Does that mean that I have till the end of october to replace them? or does it mean that I have until the end of september
How do I know If my car tags are expired?
It would depend on the law for the state you are in. Most of the time if it says OCT 2007 they would be good up to 10/31/07 at midnight. After that it's November, and you can be stopped since your tags expired in October.
Some states, as noted in previous answers, have dates in the month when they expire, like 10/20/07. In any case, you should have gotten a reminder to renew well in advance, and in most states you can renew up to 30 days early, so there is no need to wait until you are expired. Also, some states will not assess a penalty until 30 days pass, but no state gives you 30 days to renew, once they are expired, they are expired and you are subject to being stopped and ticketed. That a common misconception.
Reply:Most expire at the end of the month on the sticker. Even those that expire on a certain date during the month are not usually prosecuted. "Usually" being the key word.
Reply:you have 30 days after your tags expire to renew them
Reply:Your plate should have an expiration date on it. Paper work also, which should be in the glove box.
Reply:Look on your car's registration paperwork. It tells you the exact date that they expire (at least in Washington State they do). They actually do expire on a specific date and not necessarily the last day of the month. My most recent tags expired August 18th, so I had to get them replaced before then.
Reply:WOW, NO ONE CAN ANSWER A SIMPLE QUESTION!!!
THE TAGS WOULD EXPIRE ON THE LAST DAY OF OCTOBER AT MIDNIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... DUH!!!!!!!!!!!
credot siosse

What is the cause for keloids/skin tags?
I have noticed as i get older i have more of them. Is there a direct cause for them and what can be done to stop them *aside from having them lanced*. My grandmother has them primarily on her face and that is where mine have developed as well as neck area.
What is the cause for keloids/skin tags?
Skin tags are a usually benign skin growth that most of the time shows up around middle age. You can have them treated by freezing them with liquid nitrogen instead of getting them lanced. You can go to the doctor for this or get a freezing wart remover and follow the directions.
Reply:i am not sure about this 100% but i think skin tags are just like moles but its skin and they can easily be removed just visit the doc my mom had hers removed a couple of months ago and only one left a scar and she had like 6 removed

What's the deal with those illegal to remove tags?
Why is there a law against removing those do not remove tags from furniture and stuff? WHY!?
What's the deal with those illegal to remove tags?
It provides information to you the consumer that allows you to contact the manufacture or provides other legal information. You as the end consumer may remove the tag anyone else along the chain (store, manufacturer) are not permitted to remove the tag.
Reply:Maybe you should actually read one. If you did you would see that it is legal for the consumer to remove them. It is only illegal for the dealer to remove them. They are there as evidence that the product is new. If it is missing, consumers know it is used.
Reply:It's only illegal for the dealer to remove those tags.
Reply:it's only against the furniture stores, the consumers are allowed to cut them off.
Reply:you can remove them after you buy it
Reply:i don't know. but after the item has been brought home, nothing feels better than ripping them off. and it feels even better if you yell, "take that, big brother!" while you do it. haha
Reply:Because when you buy them you are entered into a nationwide data base. So when ever those people dump them on the side of the road when are finished using them, the police can check on the tag information and find the person who dumped the mattress!!!! ;-)

Has anyone ever heard the term skin tags?
They are small growths of skin usually under the arm or on the neck.
Does it hurt to remove them, will it bleed ?
Has anyone ever heard the term skin tags?
It depends on the size of the tags. If they are VERY small you may be able to shave it off at home with a new razor and it may hurt a little. If it is VERY small and you do shave it off then it may bleed a little, as if you had nicked yourself shaving. If you are concerned, you can see a doctor to have them removed. You do not necessarily need to see a dermatologist, a family doctor or internal medicine doctor should be able to help you.
Reply:Is a skin tag a tumor?
Yes, it is in the sense that it is a growth. However, it is a benign (harmless and not a malignant) condition.
How are skin tags treated?
In cases in which a skin tag is irritated or cosmetically unwanted, treatment may be done by freezing the tag with liquid nitrogen, tying off the tag with a thread or suture so as to cut off the blood supply, or cutting off (excising) the tag with a scalpel or scissors.
Reply:Tying them off is what we do here in the hospital. My husband's doctor said that there was no problem tying them off ourselves at home if the base is small enough.
Reply:I heard using a nail clipper to clip them off like is easy and rather painless. They usually go completely away if you cut off most of it.
Reply:yes, quite common, a doc can take them off painless. I just twist them around like a twist tye a little at a time .cuts off the blood and they dry up and fall up
Reply:Have a dermatologist remove them. It's usually painess, but they should be examined to make sure that they are benign.
Reply:I have tied a piece of thread around skin tags near my boyfriends underarm. I tied it tight, and within about 4 days, they lost their blood flow and simply fell off. He said it was painless, but he is a man and maybe he cannot admit to feeling pain!
Reply:Well, you're supposed to have a dermatologist remove them. But it's usually so much hassle because insurance won't cover them, because they are cosmetic. So I have removed them myself with a razor blade. But I know you shouldn't. yes, it hurts and yes they bleed.

Your Guide to Skin Tags
As we grow older, different growths and spots start coming out of skin. Skin tags are one such product of aging. The exact cause of skin tags is not known. They are also known as Acrochordons.
How Do They Look?
Skin tags look like small growths hanging with a stalk. These fleshy bumps are ugly in appearance and cause more of mental discomfort than physical.
Where Do They Appear?
Skin tags appear at different places such as neckline, below the breasts, underarms, and groin. They may also appear at different sites on the body.
Size:
They normally form in cluster of small tags of about 0.1 cm to big ones measuring up to 1 cm.
Warts-
All About Warts
Warts are skin growths that appear on any part of the body. This growth is non-cancerous and caused by a family of virus known as human papilloma virus (HPV). Despite common belief, warts do not have a root. They grow on the epidermis. Warts are skin-colored most of the times and rough in feel. Some warts may be dark in color and smooth to touch. Warts may grow individually or in a bunch. The virus spreads from one area of the skin to another and also from one person to another. Although warts may be left alone and may disappear after some months or years, most of the people get them treated because they affect the appearance. Also if they are not treated, instead of disappearing, sometimes they may grow in number. Let us discuss about the types of warts and their treatments.
What are the differences you look for to distinguish between warts and skin tags?
Warts are generally hard and have a rough surface on the top and skin tags are soft and generally when forming feel more like a pimple and even after being there a while are very soft.
They can bleed a lot sometimes like warts do if you mess around with them. I have never had a wart that was so sensitive to the touch and painful like a skin tag is when forming either.
Reply:skin tags are soft, smooth, skin colour pedunculated tumor, mostly at flexor aspect of body, causes discomfort and pain.
warts are dry fissured, rough surface ,slightly lighter than skin colour asymptomatic can occur any where on body, genital warts are moist,

Are there any type of security tags you can buy when the alarm goes off when trying ro remove?
I own a small boutique in Texas, and I get clothes stolen from there all the time. My friend was telling me about an alarm that goes off when you try to remove the security tag. That's EXACTLY the one I want. Do those really work, or do they just say that on their to scare customers.
Is the the norm for most of the stores out today, and where do you purchase them? Online/Offline.
Are there any type of security tags you can buy when the alarm goes off when trying ro remove?
The most economical one have a small capsule that breaks when someone tries to remove it releasing a dye that then ruins the garment. The idea being that no one would want the garment then this is true however that include you and then you can't sell it.
There are some that have a wire that goes through the sleeve hole and then both ends of the wire attach to a box secured to the fixture. Anyone trying to remove these sets off the alarm. They are effective but make it quite cumbersome to try the clothes on.
Personally I think we should just pass a law with the Death Penalty for shoplifting. Then we wouldn't have to worry about such things.
Reply:they contain mercury that burns people.

When should we get the luggage tags for the disney cruise line?
and also my friend who has been on the cruise twice, says im suppose to have a ticket that says disney cruise line on it and all the info, thats my ticket to board the ship, when do i get that?
Do like mail it to you a week before your cruise or something?
Also how am i suppose to know and trust they will get my luggage at the airport when the special luggage tag is on them?
When should we get the luggage tags for the disney cruise line?
You get your ticket from wherever you booked your cruise. Normally you have to pay in advance and they usually mail out the tickets 3-4 wks in advance (after you have paid in full)
Once you get your ticket, make sure you label your luggage for your own sake to make it easy to locate. Normally the airlines have the luggage forwarded to the cruise ship. However, if they do not, you will have to pick it up at the airlines luggage pick up. If you are taking a cab or bus, you then will transfer your luggage and they will make sure it gets on the ship.
Most cruises handle everything from the beginning to the end. Everything is checked and double checked. But, do not worry there will be plenty of staff to help you know what to do, Also, there will be others travelers that will show you. It really is very simple and I know you will really enjoy the cruise. I love taking them. They have everything on board in the event you forget something.
So don't worry. Just relax and have fun. The airlines and staff that handle your luggage put your destination and tags on for you.
Reply:You will have no problem with your luggage at the airport, with soecial handling on it. Been there done that. As far as the luggage tags I would contact the cruise line, don't wait till the last minute.

Why are Yahoo messages enclosed in <font> tags in iChat?
I connect to YIM through a jabber network account in iChat. I also connect to Google Talk the same way. I am able to receive instant messages from friends on either Google or Yahoo; however, the messages that Yahoo! Instant Messenger friends send are enclosed in %26lt;font%26gt; tags, i.e. %26lt;font "12"%26gt;text%26lt;/font%26gt;.
I am using the jabber.org.au network if that helps anyone that has an idea as to why I am seeing HTML codes with Yahoo! instant messages.
I am simply curious to know if a solution exists.
Why are Yahoo messages enclosed in %26lt;font%26gt; tags in iChat?
It's probably because you're using fonts in Yahoo messages that are not in your network, so it converts to something your network understands, trying to keep it as close to the original font and size as it can.
This is conjecture, I don't know for sure.

CSS: How do I change the text color for text that's in two different div tags?
#divID1, #divID2 {color:#color;}
Or assign a class to both divs:
.othercolor {color:#color;}
You can assign multiple classes to an element by separating them with spaces:
%26lt;div class="class1 class2"%26gt;

Can employers legally ask you to provide your make, model, and tags of your vehicle?
Wouldn't this be a privacy concern/issue?
Can employers legally ask you to provide your make, model, and tags of your vehicle?
It depends what they need the info for. It might be for parking enforcement, to make sure only employees are parking in their lot.
Just ask why.
Reply:I don't know about the legality of it but the company I work for does have a database that they can match the tag number too if there is an accident in the parking garage. This makes it easier for them to find the owner of a damaged vehicle.
Reply:There are many legitimate reasons to want to know this, most importantly may be to keep from towing your vehicle out of the parking lot!
It is no more a violation of privacy than them wanting to know your birthday. They don't really need it, but it may come in handy someday.
Reply:I believe if it is a job where you will be using your own vehicle.
Reply:Yes they can. Suppose someone looks out in the parking lot and sees a car being towed away. Suppose it's yours, wouldn't you appreciate it if they'd find you and tell you about it?
No, I guess it's none of their business which car is yours, and why should they worry about it. """ NOT MY CAR! WHO GIVES A F###!???"""
Reply:Yes they certainly can especially if you use it for work purposes, park it on your employer's property or near your employer's property then of course they can ask for these details, I am taking tag to mean to mean its number plate or license plate. It allows them to identify whose vehicles are on their property, whose vehicles have been parked illegally etc, it also allows them to make sure that their property is only being used to park legitimate vehicles.
Reply:Often, it's to record that vehicle as being approved to park in your company's parking lot or garage. Similarly, hotels usually ask for your vehicle information when you check in.
If your company doesn't have a private lot, then I'd be more inclined to question it.
Reply:This might be for your own safety. If there is a strange car in the employee parking lot, they want to make sure you aren't going to be hurt by someone else's actions.
Reply:Privacy issue?
The make of your car is written on it as the makers "branding" to advertise their vehicle every time you drive it.
The color is blatantly obvious - there is no expectation of privacy of the color of your car.
Plate # - same thing.....it is out there for the world to see at all times.
None of those things are private. Most companies just want to know who's car is parked on their property.

Why are Israeli dog tags designed so that they can be broken in half?
Is there a specific reason?
Thanks in advance!
Why are Israeli dog tags designed so that they can be broken in half?
They are designed so they can be broken in half because in case of an emergency, someone can break off half of the dog tag to call for help and the other half is on the soldier for easy identification of the body. (The same information is on both halves) It is a more practical way of achieving what the US does with two dog tags.
It is also interesting that ours don't have the information that the US ones have, like blood type and SS number. They have a "soldier number" (which can be punched into a computer to retrieve health-related information) and a name.

What causes skin tags and are there any home remedies to get rid of these ugly things.?
Hidious! I know that these are not skin cancer, But my son in law has several and wants to get rid of them without having to see a dermatologist..any ideas?
What causes skin tags and are there any home remedies to get rid of these ugly things.?
He will need to go to the dermatologist to have them burned off. They will bleed heavily if you try to remove them at home and they will return.
Reply:i have them too but i'm to chicken to take care of them myself. he can use an otc freeze for warts or, the more painful option would be to clip them with very sharp scissors or clippers. be ready for some blood though. honestly, i'd see the doc. quick and easy.
Reply:My brother used to cut them off with toenail clippers.
No matter how you get rid of them (even at the doctor's office) they will keep coming back. I have had them taken off at the dermatologist's by an electric needle and it hurts like hell, then after about a year they are back.
Reply:I know he may not want to, but I think seeing a doctor is the best bet. If you try to do it yourself and cut it off, it will bleed every where for ever ((well, it seems like it)).
It's not worth it, cause it hurts, bleeds, can leave a scar, and it'll most likely come back. Go see a professional. They now what they're doing.

Anyone know how the tags on stuff at walmart are deactivated when you buy them and checkout at selfcheckout?
Clothes don't have the security tags that are white, and sound the alarm when deactivated. Electronic equipment does, dvds, games etc. At what point during the checkout process are they deactivated?....At the self checkout counter.
Anyone know how the tags on stuff at walmart are deactivated when you buy them and checkout at selfcheckout?
if ur talking about the senormatics that come inside of merchandise u pass it over the magnet blue star that is on the scanner and it deactivates it. so as soonn as u scan the merchandise u pass it over the blue star to put it in the bad u will hear a noise that lets u know that its deactivated.
Reply:You can either be patient and wait in a line so you dont have to hassel with it...or if your way to impatient, you can probably ask the person that is looking out over all the self-check outs. There is usually someone standing at a booth making sure everyone is set.

What to do with an accident with a driver with expired tags and registration?
My son rolled into a car at a red light leaving a small smudge mark...the police was called and they said the damage was under $50 and the other driver opted not to have an accident report filed because he was going to receive a ticket for his tags and registration being expired for 2 months...now this person is telling me that the damage was underestimated and his estimate is $800...i want to pay for damages i am responsible for, but it doesn't seem fair that this guy opted for no accident report to get out of a ticket and fines and has jacked the price way up....if i turn it into my ins my premiums will go up.....does he have legal rights if he was driving a vehicle that wasn't legally supposed to be on the road????...and should i offer him what the officer said $100 and just let him take me to small claims court..... thank you for your help
What to do with an accident with a driver with expired tags and registration?
Let him take you to court. Make sure you still have the policeman's details (which, please tell me, you took at the time) so he can be a witness.
Reply:beat him with a brick
Reply:Regardless of that guy's license status, your son negligently caused damage to his car and you are responsible for reasonable repairs. You should file a claim with your insurance company. That is what you pay insurance for. It is unlikely that your rates will go up for a single (small) claim. They can advise you and act on your behalf to make sure the estimate for the damage is reasonable.
Reply:i aggree with Tony R - HIT THE TARD WITH A BRICK! (and then run like hell) worked for me :)
Reply:Please let your insurance company deal with this - that is what you pay them for, and they can put adequate pressure on them to get real or back off.
Reply:You're right, offer the 100.00 or explain to him, he can explain in court why he was illegally on the road. Make him take you to court. He will back off. You may need the officer as a witness, to say what damage he saw.
Reply:Do you have photos of the damage?
My husband had an incident last year. It was his fault, but I happened to have my camera with me, so we took pictures of it.
The people kept calling saying it was $600. My husband told them to have it fixed and we will reimburse them for the bill. They wanted the money, and we refused. They never contacted us again.
We were lucky, but we think they jacked it up thinking we would pay for the damage. The photos would have been good proof in court, because there just wan't much damage.
Reply:Hmm.. interesting question. I would check with your insurance company first. Just be general about it, don't give them specifics. I would imagine that because there was no report filed or anything, this guy can't do jack all because there was no "proof" your son hit his car. In other words, because he never filed an accident report, he cannot prove that your son hit his car.. If he did file a report, he would have to pay for the damages because it would be proven that at the time of the accident, he had no insurance because his registration was overdue. If you ask me, he's just trying to gype you out of money. DO NOT pay him any more than what the officer suggested. Ask someone from the insurance company first how they would handle something like that.
Reply:I think it is a scam. Call your insurance company and tell them the story. Did you son get the name of the policeman and his badge number?
Do not let him get away with this.
Reply:well for one call and talk to the officer involved and explain what is happening. Because he shouldn't get nothing from you especially when he said it. It's a verbal agreement. If he wants take him t to take you to small claims court let him. Because what he doesn
't realize is that the cops know what happened and they can be your witness. He doesn't have a leg to stand on. Also what kind of cops do you ahve there cause if they were doing there jobs they would have noticed the tags were expired. Good Luck
Reply:Turn their claim into your insurance company telling them what you told us. Insurance fraud is not taken lightly, and once your company tells them that, and reminds them the police are ready to testify the damage was under $50 I would bet the whole thing will suddenly go away.
And no, turning in an accident of that small an amount will NOT increase your premium.
Reply:His having expired plates will have no bearing, whatsoever, on the accident. You need to call the officer who responded and tell him that you need a report filed. At the very least the officer should have filled out an Exchange of Information Report. You also need to immediately put your insurance company on notice, most have restrictions that accidents, no mater how small be reported within a certain amount of time. And let you company call him. Let him see you are not going to be pushed around. Let an adjuster go and look at the damage and laugh. You pay for insurance and this is what they are for! You rates are not going to be affected that much
My son got his license and had a rear end accident with two different cars involved, his fault, my adjuster went to inspect the cars with check book in hand. Money speaks loudly. Both drivers and one passenger settled for a small amount in a matter of days. My rates did not go up much at all. Another time my son and another boy had a "run in" after school. It totally looked to be the other boys fault but neither called the cops (ugh!) anyway the boys mother called and told us she was making a claim. I laughed but called my company and they pretty much informed her that since it was HER son's fault that WE would also be making a claim. There was so little damage on either car it was pitiful, but she back off immediately!

Do you need the tags to return an item from Macy's?
I have the receipts but i took out all the tags/other attachments.
Do you need the tags to return an item from Macy's?
It will be much easier for the employees at macy's if you bring the tags. If not then just note where that item is on your reciept. That should be enough. If you do not have the tags, you might want to find where these pieces of merchandise are in the store so that they can use these tags to enter it as a return in the computer. I used to work for Robinsons May (now Macy's) and I remember how much of a pain it was when there was no tags on returned merchandise. In extreme cases I would have to guess. But you should be okay with just the reciept. Good luck.

How do sensormatic tags work?
I see these sensormatic tags in almost everything these days, but I'm still really confused on how they work. How can they be activated and deactivated by just sliding them across one of those counter deactivators? Do they have some sort of battery in each one. Wounldn't that be expensive? Do they work with magnets?
How do sensormatic tags work?
I know something you don't know! Hehe. Anyways, why do you want to know? Probably not for a good reason.

Is it illegal to wear Dog Tags with all the military required information?
i mean if i buy a pair of dag tags and print all all the military info.......Name...Social No......Blood Type...Religion....est
i am only 14 and live in the UK, if i wear the dog tags, am i claiming that i am in the US army??
Is it illegal to wear Dog Tags with all the military required information?
I'm in the US military and no, it's not illegal. Dog tags aren't considered a valid form of ID... Of course you'd in effect listing all the info someone would need to steal your identity on a little piece of metal.
The only reason we have those tags is so that if someone is injured we have identifying information and, most importantly, their blood type if a transfusion is needed.
Reply:not if you're in the military
Reply:If you live in the UK you do not have a Social Security number now do you? If you print one on the tags that could be construed as identity theft.
Reply:Get them if you want it is perfectly legal. (Not too sure if it is a good idea to want to look like a U.S. Soldier we get no respect in europe.)
Reply:Its ok! You can wear dog tags. it is legal. Its a free country. The only illegal thing would be to forge an illegal ID card and try to get on a US Military installation.

Is it possible to have a keyword phrase in your keyword meta tags?
Is it possible to have a keyword phrase in your keyword meta tags? Example: is it possible to use the phrase "new cellphone" as a keyword phrase, by not separating the words with a comma? Or do keyword phrases in meta tags not exist? Would it just be better off to list my keywords like this? "new, cellphone, ..."? Expert advice needed...
Is it possible to have a keyword phrase in your keyword meta tags?
1) You can use both keywords and phrases. A combination would be recommened. In your example, you can use "new cellphone, new handset, new mobile phone". There's no need to use space if you are already using comma as a delimiter
2) You should be selective of the words in the keyword meta tag because you should limit yourself to only 10 to 12 words.
3) Make sure that you keywords in the meta tag are also found in the content of your pages.
4) Do not use too much repetitions of the same words.
5) Avoid using the same keyword tags in all of your pages.
6) Many engines do not bother with the keyword meta tag. This is because the emphasis is on the actual text content and headers rather then the meta tags. I believe it must have been overly abused to a point where some search engines can't be bothered with this tag anymore. Place more emphasis and effort on your content.

To determine the number of deer in a game preserve a conservationist catches 899 deer tags them and lets them?
Since 165 of the 330 he recaptured were tagged, that's 50%. Then the 889 he tagged must represent 50% of the total population, which is 2 x 889 = 1780 deer, about.
Reply:well as he only tags 165 of the 300, he will only have them in his preserve so you have to add 165 to 899 which is equal to 1064
he has 1064 deer :)

How much does cosmetic removal of skin tags cost?
I have many of these that I'd like to have removed, but most of them would not be covered by my insurance. I was curious how much it would cost to do so, ballpark.
How much does cosmetic removal of skin tags cost?
It depends on the number of lesions and the area to be electrocauterized. With this you have immediate results (coz the doctor basically zaps the skin tags) and this just needs topical analgesic so it wont cost much..but sometimes when the skin tag is huge they inject local anaesthetic... COST? (again, that depends on the number and area....) USD100-150 per session.
Reply:It varies from doctor to doctor, but it generally ranges somewhere between $125-$200 PER VISIT. And it usually takes between 5 and 10 visits before you start to see results.

How can you make sure you meta tags and webpage in general are optimized for search engines?
First of all, I'd recommend you have a clear idea of the page's topic - what it's going to be about. The more specific you can be, the better.
Then, make a list of the most relevant search phrases people are using to find that sort of information - a good resource for this is:
http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com
Once you have this list of keywords (only the 2-3 most relevant phrases, and they should be related to each other), you are ready to optimize your page. Here are my top 5 suggestions:
1) Include your main keyword phrase in the "Title" of your page
2) Include a keyword or two in the "Description" META tag (you really don't need to worry about the other META tags)
3) Use header tags (specifically %26lt;h1%26gt; and %26lt;h2%26gt;) in your page's body to identify a headline %26lt;h1%26gt; and subheadline %26lt;h2%26gt;, making sure to include keywords in each of these.
4) Include variations of your keywords where appropriate throughout the body of your page, using different tenses and suffixes. It is important to do this in moderation and avoid "stuffing" your content with keywords.
5) What matters MOST is that your content is useful and interesting to your readers - it's okay to build or cite information already out there, but make it unique and something people would find valuable.
So, basically define your page's content in terms of keywords, use those keywords appropriately throughtout the page, and be sure to provide content that's unique and meaningful to people - do this and you should have an optimized page.
Best of luck,
Jason - eNCarolina.com
How can you make sure you meta tags and webpage in general are optimized for search engines?
1.) URLs must be search engine and human friendly (I mean all urls must be in html form and of course, all the keywords are in the url without any session ids, characters, or whatsoever).
2.) Meta tags, contents, alternate texts, and title are filled with keywords.
3.) Sites must not be in full flash or framed layouts.
4.) Layouts must be search engine friendly (in divs not tables with XHTML and CSS validity).
Reply:The most important aspect of your web page (in terms of on-page elements) is the page title. Be sure that this is keyword focused %26amp; concise with the topic of the page. Generally shorter is better, but a good title will increase your clickthrough rate from search engines - so probably put a little thought into it.
The meta tags should be in line with the title element %26amp; the page's contents. Don't try to stuff the meta keywords tag or over-repeat things, keep it simple. This meta content is not really considered overly important, though I always add at least the description to every page that I create.
Also, make note that the meta description tag is not for keyword stuffing, either. A lot of website owners tend to stuff the meta description with keywords; and that's not what it's for.
Your page titles %26amp; meta content should be unique for each and every page because each and every page of your website should have a distinct, and unique purpose.
There is much more to consider when working on optimizing your website, such as internal link structure, use of descriptive anchor text for internal links and using keyword focused page names. . . but above is how you can align your website's page titles and meta content for better optimization.
Reply:First, make sure your URL's are SEO readable. This means that if you've got a site on pizza it would be www.yoursite.com/pizza instead of www.yoursite.com/topics/_topicid=20934uj...
Optimizing your URLs is a subject unto itself and you can read up on it online.
Also, write some good content that you think people might want to read and might link to. This will help your page rank in Google. Google will tell you that there are no tricks to getting a higher page rank and that in order to rank high for any given search term, you will need to be linked to a lot as well as viewed a lot.
Third, target what topics and search terms you are going for and strategize.
SEO is such a broad topic you could spend a lifetime learning about it. I reccomend you go to webmasterworld.com for more info. You can also see Google's webmaster help center at http://www.google.com/support/webmasters...
Cheers,
Brian

The most effective way to advertise on the Internet is
to first set up a website and publish its domain name
on major search directories such as Google.com,
Yahoo.com [at http://www.google.com/addurl/?...... and
MSN.com since 85% of Internet shoppers rely on these
search directories to provide them with goods and
services. In a sense, these search directories are a
very large Internet Yellow Pages.
Nevertheless, should your website or opening webpage
fail to contain "generic" keywords, then anyone using
such "generic" queries will not be able to discover
your website. Your domain name [URL] of your website,
in a sense, will be invisible, undiscoverable.
You may want to consider some simple algorithms which,
when observed and committed in designing of a website
with placement of various critical metatags that can
surely achieve a high search engine presence and
increase Internet traffic to your website. These
metatag strategies work well with published webpages
at Google and Yahoo.
Design: Should you create an extensive Flash-based
website, make sure to fill-in the property entries
such as the Title, Description and Keywords. Failing
to do so, leaves no hard HTML or ALT resource that can
be readily indexed by search robots. Also consider the
Internet audience and their incoming setup. For
example, if they are on analog/dialup, Flash webpages
take too long to load up and therefore analog users
will likely lose interest and discontinue entering the
Flash site. On the other hand, anyone on hi-speed DSL
lines, will welcome Flash pages which load quickly. So
before designing a pure Flash websitge, ask the simple
question, "Who's my end user - is he on dialup or
DSL?" And if you had to choose between these two users
for maximum marketability, then select analog users
since 80% of most resident users are still analog
Internet subscribers and pure HTML designed webpages
is best for them.
A non-Flash-based website which relies on hard text,
is far easier to be indexed by search robots. Limit
the use of stylized text saved as .gifs since as a
graphic, they are not indexable by search robots.
Avoid use of frames since any number of search robots
are unable to properly classify textual material.
Placement of Metatags:
A ranking or search order does take place with Google
and Yahoo and it begins with the "Title" metag which
should consist of no more than 60 characters separated
by commas. The "Title" should describe in generic terms, the goods and services, followed by a location from which the resource is located, i.e., city, state. The placement of a domain name which is not generic within the "Title" is not appropriate, unless your
domain name is a major recognizable brand name.
The second metatag is the "Description" which is
usually up to 41 words to form a complete paragraph which
best describes one's goods and services. It is not merely a list.
And the very last category - "Keywords" are also
somewhat limited to 15 words which can be plural
and compound in nature. Again, avoid multiple entries
which could be mistaken as "spamdexed entries" which
is defined as the loading, and submission of
repetitive words into a particular metatag category.
"Spamdexing" when discovered on a webpage and reported
to Google's spamreport.com can result in the
elimination of your website from their search
directory.
Here's an example of a very highly-placed website on
Google.com: Begin with the very "generic" search query
"sandwiches downtown los angeles," taking note to not
abbreviate Los Angeles to "LA" and of course, leave
out the parentheses ("). It will bring up some 2.4
million+ search results. Check out where "Nazos.net"
is ranked. It's on the SECOND FRONT [ranked 15]!
Again, Nazos.net's high web presence was achieved by
proper web design and placement of relevant metatags
according to Google's publication guidelines.
Good luck!

Reply:The following article may prove helpful to you in streamlining your SEO metatags in order to attract more Net traffic by higher search engine placement.

What can nurses wear to be easily identified in a hospital besides their name tags?
I am in a Professional Image Committee @ work. What is the easiest way to identify between a nurse vs. doctor vs. tech...?
What can nurses wear to be easily identified in a hospital besides their name tags?
On their name tag it should say their occupational level...
Reply:At some hospitals, they wear different colored scrubs. Blue for nurses, green for doctors, light blue for sugery techs, etc.
Reply:For starters most doctors and techs wear lab coats. Most nurses don't. Some hospitals also assign different colored scrubs to different departments (like nurses wear teal, and respiratory therapists wear blue, and doctors wear green, that kind of thing) but I've only seen that once. I like the idea.
Reply:I'd like to see nurses go back to wearing those cool little white hats.

If my Pa registration is suspended can i buy another car put new tags on it and be able to register it?
have suspended regisration on current car for 3 months.
If my Pa registration is suspended can i buy another car put new tags on it and be able to register it?
I hope not.
Reply:It totally depends on the reason for suspension. If it was suspended for safety reasons, and you owe no registration fees, you can register another vehicle. If it was suspended for non-payment of fees, bounce cheque for registration, you will be barred from registering another vehicle. We need more information.
Reply:I don't see how a registration can be suspended. They usually only suspend your driver's license.

Do shirts from the American Apparel store usually come with tags on them?
When you buy a shirt from American Apparel, does it usually come with a tag? I have a brand new American Apparel shirt, but with no tag, and I was going to give it as a gift and I don't want it to look used.
Do shirts from the American Apparel store usually come with tags on them?
Well, if you purchased it from the store, it should come with a tag. And if it doesnt, just exchange it for a new one and ask about a gift receipt. If you ordered it offline, however, most online ordered merchandise doesnt come with a tag.
Reply:on some material they print the tag right on the shirt
Reply:I've got a couple of short-sleeved shirts with collars and they both have tags on them.
Reply:yes, but the tags are small, like maybe 1 or 2 inches big.
they only have a barcode and price and item description.
Reply:No, I work at american apperal, no shirt has a tag, but you can ask to give you a gift recipt. It dosn't show the price, but if the person wants to return it they can and if you don't want to look cheap you should ask.
Reply:All shirts come with a tag from American Apparel, I think someone sold you a used shirt.

Where can I buy a device that tags items for sale? The plastic that goes from clothing seam to paper price?
I don't know what it's called, but it's the device that allows you to put a cardboard 'price tag' onto a shirt for sale. It gets the long skinny plastic tag holder into the seam of the shirt and holds the price tag onto it. I designed some beautiful handmade blouses that I'd like to sell at our upcoming town fair and I need to get them price-tagged.
Where can I buy a device that tags items for sale? The plastic that goes from clothing seam to paper price?
Try office max or staples. I believe they carry them.

Why do the hispanics switch the price tags at my garage sales to get a cheaper price?
Everytime I have garage sales (4-5 a year but at different locations and towns), the hispanics always end up switching the price tags to get the cheaper price? I'm not predjudiced but its very difficult for me to respect them after they repeatedly do this. Not all of them do, but there's always a few of them. And I've also caught them stealing things too from my sales...can I call the police to my garage sale?
Why do the hispanics switch the price tags at my garage sales to get a cheaper price?
If you want to curtail price tag-switching, try this: on each price tag, put a two-letter "code" in the bottom corner of the tag that shows what the item is and only you know it. For example, red dress would be "RD," a candle-holder would be "CH," etc. When people ask you what it means, you tell them it´s inventory control. Works for me :-)
Reply:Ooh, what a polemically dubious question! I'll try to answer this one without being too conservative or politicaly correct.
First, it seems as if by demographics alone you might live in a low-income predominantly Latino community. Or at least, whereever you pitch your garage sales.
Second, you are stereotyping hispanics saying that they repeatedly conduct in this way of what you are alleging.
And third, this isn't a legitamte business where you shouldn't call the police to report frivolous crap, that's pathetic! It is different than say, assault or grand theft larceny. But petty items that are pilfered ....c'mon you should handle that.
Very important DON'T EVER SAY "THE hispanics" ...makes you sound racist. It's like saying "the blacks, the whites, the indians" I don't remember ever addressing an ethnic backround with the word THE first, it isn't PC. Your race is NOT superior to anyone's race. So be careful how you speak especially in forums.
Remember, thiefs come from different backrounds, colors and all origins. It's possible you live in an inner-city where crime is rampant.
I'll tell you these two sayings, "A thief is always accusing of theft or being robbed just like a liar is always claiming they are being lied to" and the other "Poverty, crime and ignorance make a bad soup".
As a suggestion to curtail such an action, be creative use different deterrents such as clear tape over the pricetag taped on the clothing tag. This way, if the price tag is tampered with you will know if it has been removed. Fend off thiefs by putting clothing and valuables in open sight near you either in boxes or on tables or shleves. Try selling in swapmeets too where you can report these kinds of crimes to security. Or even on eBay or craigslist. These are some of my favorite sites. Don't ever say it's hispanics or even assume only hispanics do this. You can upset many people and it can fire back at you. We all stereotype but the challenge is not to make that preconceived notion a prejudice. It's a trick of the mind that can easily fool you. You be the bigger person and respectfully approach the person only if you are 100% sure. But even that is risky. BE RESPECTFULL. But act clueless " I don't think this is marked that price" "Um, let me check my list of prices to be sure" For that (the best deterrent) make a seperate list of all items especially valuable as a reference pricelist. That way, you can easily say "Sorry, ma'am/sir, the price is incorrect" without any stress.
Last proverb.

Concerning that, I see on TV each and every day nonhispanic people committing robberies, crimes, kidnapping, and all type of bad deeds
Reply:This sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy. By focusing all your attention on the "Hispanics", you manage to catch them doing it while all the non-Hispanics get away with it. You say you are not prejudiced but it sounds very much as though you are.
Rather than calling the police, you should organize your sales better so that you don't make it so tempting to switch prices. Usually this only happens when the items are overpriced to start with. Have several people help you with the sale, and ask yourself if you have a suspicious or belligerent attitude that makes people want to get back at you in some kind of way.
Reply:Just ask them. Or yell at them. Don't be a wuss and complain with quasi-bigoted rants on-line, or call cops.

Why was my newborn born with skin tags?
My baby was born with multiple skin tags right in front of both of her ears. I am really concerned this is going to cause hearing problems, as she failed the hearing test in the hospital the first time. What causes these?
Why was my newborn born with skin tags?
My son was born with skin tags on his torso. A dermatologist can take them off your baby very easily. I would go to a dermatologist, not a regular pediatrician, as dermatologists have far more experience with skin tag removal. I've had them removed and it wasn't bad at all, really.
Failing a hearing test right after birth isn't anything to get upset about. The second test will probably be done by an audiologist, which is who you want to do the test. Most test that are done right after birth are not done by audiologists.
Best of luck to you all. Take care.

I cannot get tags for the truck I bought. The title is not clear,,the seller is a no show. What to do?
The titles has not been properly released and i cannot get tags or get it registered. The sell is awol the truck runs great but without title or tags I am screwed. What can I do to keep the truck??? Is suing the seller my only option??
I cannot get tags for the truck I bought. The title is not clear,,the seller is a no show. What to do?
You can consider pressing charges against him - without a clear title, the truck wasn't his to sell.
The thing is, if he didn't have full, clear ownership, he didn't have the right to sell it. So you paid money for a truck that you didn't actually, legally buy.
Reply:I ran into the same problem with a truck I purchased. A person should never buy a vehicle without seeing the title in hand. The guy I bought the car from was moving and said he had packed up the title by mistake. We filled out the paperwork for a duplicate title before he left. I wasn't in a rush to register the truck because it was a 3rd vehicle. A few weeks later instead of a title I got a letter that said that there was a lein on the titel. It listed the company as a local payday loan company. Now by this time the guy who sold me the truck was long gone and moved many states away. I contacted the loan place and told them what had happened. They said they would release the title to me if I paid off the original loan amount. It was easier to just pay it then wait. So I paid the loan off and the loan company sent me the title. If I could find the person I could take them to small claims court to get my money back from the loan but it wan't worth it to me. I would find out what is owed and try to pay it off. Then try to find the ex-owner and first try to ask for the money back and if he won't pay then go to court. If the amount owed is too much for you to pay then you could bring him to court. If the money is owed to a bank and no payments are being made then they could be looking for the truck to repo it and unfortunately if they find you have it they will repo it from you. The payday loan place that had the loan on the truck I bought was looking for the truck or the guy to repo the truck. Good Luck I know how frustrating it can be.
Reply:Sue the seller
Reply:you can get a warrant for their arrest that's really all you can do,they should have made sure it was clear before they sold it to you, you,ll have to do something though, right now its kind of useless to you or any one else,i wish you luck on this it took me a year to find a guy on a van i bought, good luck with it.
Reply:It seems like a big legal matter. Good luck.
Reply:You could ask the country court clerk to tell you who has a lean on the title, then go to them and ask if the lean had been payed and if they could sent proof of that to the Clerk so you can tag your truck, this may be the fastest way and it will need to be done sooner or later! Good Luck!
Reply:You can go and file for a lost title and they can issue you a temporary one, suing the guy will take longer.Go to where ever you register in you county city or state i dont know your state laws but you can file for lost title and still be able to drive your truck

Is there a search engine which one can use tags with?
For example, say i want to search the web, i'm looking for specific material. With google, i type a term, and may or may not find what i'm looking for. With this tag search-engine, i could enter as many tags as i like, and a term for the search.
Please don't give irrelevant answers, think about what i'm asking :)

Lycos and IntelliSeek, maker of the BullsEye desktop search utility, have teamed up to produce an index of search databases to help users find information that is invisible to search engines. The "Invisible Web Catalog" provides links to more than 7,000 specialty search resources. Users can browse listings, or Lycos will suggest appropriate databases within its own search results.
This is a great new tool because there's lots of helpful information locked away in databases that can never be indexed by search engines. No, Lycos isn't automatically searching these databases when you perform a search, which some people have mistakenly assumed. That's no simple task, though IntelliSeek says it is something that could possible happen in the future. Instead, the goal is to make these search resources more visible as alternative sources of information.
For instance, say you searched for "cancer." You'll notice in the search results that there's a link to "Reference %26gt; Searchable Databases %26gt; Health %26gt; Diseases %26gt; Cancer." If you click through, you'll discover some important cancer-related sites listed, with links that lead straight to their search pages. You can then select a resource and try a specific search there.
So to get the most out of the Invisible Web catalog, change your search strategy at Lycos. If you see a searchable database link in the results, consider clicking through to explore the resources there.
You can also browse the Invisible Web Catalog's listings by going to its home page. Follow the link below or just search for "invisible web" to find it. Once there, you can also choose to search just within the catalog for databases of interest.

The RFID Chips are used to identify the person. They are currently used on pets.

I would like to see RDIF use in convicted sex offenders, however.

How do I get tags for a used car?
should I get temp license plates when picking up the car? Im buying it from a private seller.
How do I get tags for a used car?
If possible get a temporary tag, but you should have 30 days from the date of purchase to obtain a license plate from the DMV. You will need to be able to produce a bill of sale / title and valid insurance for the vehicle if you are pulled over and when you get the title transferred to you and get a real plate from the DMV.
Good luck!
Reply:You have to go down to the DMV with your papers. They should be able to tell you what you have to do. I do know that you have to get a transfer of ownership.

Which meta tags are the most important to search engine results?
Which meta tags are considered the most in search engine results? Keywords, title, or description? I am designing a site and can't figure out which one of these tags to put the most thought into.
Which meta tags are the most important to search engine results?
All three, and do balance them, add certain words to ALL THREE, for example, if you sell cameras, and cameras to all three! :)
Reply:Thank you for choosing my answer, and you might want to visit: http://www.searchenginewatch.c... to learn more, good info there even though some of it is out of date. Have fun! :) Report It
Reply:The description is used, but not the keywords. It's too easy to abuse the keywords tag, so search engines have given up on them in favor of parsing through a page's actual content. I think http://www.dmoz.org/ makes full use of a site's meta tags, but I'm not so sure they use the keywords tag.
The %26lt;title%26gt;%26lt;/title%26gt; tags are still made use of. It can be to your advantage to include a very short description of site in those.
Reply:Generally speaking, title and description.

Any website would be helpful. Thank you very much.
Where can I find cheap luggage locks and luggage tags online?
The only locks you should use are the TSA locks. The TSA guys at the airport can open these if needed then re-lock them . If you use any other kind of locks, TSA may break them to get into your suitcases. Here is a list of 0n-line sources.

How do you remove the plastic disc type security tags from clothing without damaging the material?
Here's a handful of suggestions from another site:
1) You simply get one of the thicker rubber bands (the type the mail carriers normally uses. You then wrap it under the needle part of the ink dispenser (usually the needle part is on the inside of the garment. You then keep wrapping it around and around and ultimately the slow addition of pressure on the rubber band pops the tag off.
Works like a charm, and there were always security tags found in the dressing rooms and busted rubber bands next to them, so it's obviously not that well-kept a secret.
2) you can heat up the plastic with a lighter, the spring will push the metal cup up aswell as the metal balls, once that is out, you can use a thin pocket knife to pry the tag apart just enough to slide out the pin
3) Their is a much easier way to remove an ink tag that you can do without power tools, all you have to do is melt the top part of the plastic cone part with a lighter and then scrape it off with a knife, then use the knife to pop all the bearings out, after that it slides apart. takes about a minute to get it apart, takes 15 to 30 seconds of melting the plastic with a lighter, after the first bearing comes out the next the next ones pop right out.
4) After shoplifting sessions my brother would use SaranWrap and a pair of scissors to cut them off. The SaranWrap would prevent the ink from staining the clothes if the packet broke. There was just enough room to fit the blades of the scissors and snip the pin that ran between the two plastic pieces. This was in the mid 90s.
5) I didn't read all the comments before me, so I don't know if anyone already posted this. It's really easy to get these sensors off without releasing any ink. Simply take a fork, insert it in between the fabric and one of the plastic ends so that the metal pin is between the metal teeth (or whatever they're called), as far away from the opening as possible. Then, pull straight up. With enough force, the tag is removed without damage.
6) Thanks guys for the ideas. I recently purchased several items from JC Penny. When purchasing the garment the sales lady actually commented on how she would remove all the ink tags so that I would not have to return to the store to have them removed. So I felt pretty safe. But lo and behold when I returned home, there was that pesky ink tag on the blouse that I wanted to wear that same day. So I put off returning to the store that day and with me being the unorganized person that I am, lost the receipt. Needless to say the store would not remove the tag without the receipt. Soooooo, I tried the fork idea, that broke the ink tag (got ink on a small section of the blouse). Then (undaunted) I tried the lighter OHMIGOD! it wok ed instantly. Just scrape the burnt part off and remove the three balls that surround the pen. After that the two sections easily separate. The great part is that the ink, although a bit smelly, is easily removed with Woolite, and I only had a tiny hole in the seam from pulling on the ink tag. The lighter is the way to go guys!
7) wire cutters gets those ones off that have the mushroom head shaped end peice. Used my leatherman to get one of these off a paid for pair of jeans for xmas. cut the wire in between the shroom shaped peice and the block. Yes, I used to work retail, it works very well.
Happy Halloween!

Reply:YOU can't. Those tags are on clothes for a reason ... to deter people from stealing clothing. When a person pays for the clothing, the cashier removes the tags with a small devise designed for just that purpose. Since it's still on the clothing, it's more than likely stolen or the cashier forgot to take it off. Ask your relative for the receipt, then take it to the store where it was purchased and have the cashier remove it. If your relative can't or won't give you the receipt ... it's more than likely stolen. If so, give it back to them and tell them "no thanks".
Reply:I'm surprised the clerk didn't remove it at the store while ringing it up: They usually do.
Reply:I've never tried the heat before - I'd try that first.
If you can't take it back to the store - you will just have to work at it with pliers- it can be done, but it's a pain! If it is in a discreet place - you might be able to cut it off and then stitch or glue the seam so it doesn't unravel.
I've bought things home only to find out later that there are still tags. (What makes me wonder is why the alarms don't go off when that happens - it always works when I'm shopping anywhere near the door! But I have found the dang tags at home too.)
Best of luck
