When you purchase a new mobile home, do you have to keep up with the tags just like a car?

I also wondered if you have to get a title and go through everything as if it were a car...

When you purchase a new mobile home, do you have to keep up with the tags just like a car?
If you are talking about RV-type places, then yes. But a trailer-type thing, then no. They are jsut called "mobile homes" because they are easy to move. They split in half and are put on big trucks.
Reply:Yes you do. Every year.
Reply:Are you talking about a single/double wide trailer or a trailer you pull behind car/truck.?

If it is a mobile home as in double/single wide no you dont have to get tags every year. You get a title when you pay it off. Until then you should receive a white memo random from state to prove that you are buying it. You must pay lot rent, taxes and utilities if you dont own property. If you own property just taxes and utilities.

Now on a trailer that you pull with car/truck or a RV you drive yes you must get tags every year.
