Wat is the layout on military dog tags need to order new 1s for my husband in iraq and cant tremember?

I cant remember the exact order of the information that goes on them and need to order them asap and not sure wen the next time i will be able to talk to y husband

Reply:He can go to supply and get a new set. You shouldn't have to spend any money on them.
Reply:Shouldn't the military take care of this? Seems like a standard issue type of thing. For the US Army, this is the standard order:





Surname


First name, middle initial


Social Security Number


Blood type


Religion





If your husband is in a different branch, check the link below for the correct order of information.
Reply:Have the hubby head over to S-1, hopefully their dog tag machine is/was working/brought with the unit. If it is, the admin will be bale to make him a new set. If that one isn't working head over to medical some units have one for the medical tags. Might be a bit faster than having a set made here and then shipped to him.

Reply:On my dog tags starts out, first line - LAST NAME - second line - FIRST NAME %26amp; MIDDLE ENISLE third line - has my SEARAL NUMBER - fourth line - BLOOD TYPE - fifth line - RELIGION. My tags also have a notch in them.
